99 Problems with Flash/Actionscript 2…

I’ve been intensely working with Actionscript 2  in the past year doing a complex online application. I have yet to use Actionscript 3 to do any kind of major project, but I have dabbled in it. In the following days, I’ll be posting problems that I’ve found in AS2 with solutions and my opinion on the matter. Throughout the development, I’ve found many sites that I like and admire, but I have yet to find a place where many of these problems are listed with their workaround, so here it is.

For anyone commenting, please try to keep it related to AS2 as much as possible, I know that AS3 is a big improvement over AS2, but a lot of companies still uses AS2 because Flash Player 8 has more penetration than version 9 (especially in corporate/government environments).  I will probably post AS3 stuff later when I have to convert the system from AS2 to AS3.
