Flex IRC Channel

I’ve been attending the Flex IRC Channel on Freenode for quite some time now.  I’ve always found it to be a resourceful place to throw around ideas or better ways to implement certain functionality in every day Flex apps.

For a long time (ie. never), this channel wasn’t moderated which sometimes became an inconvenience at times.  A fellow member of the chan (daizoid) and I took it upon ourselves to do something about it.  We approached the owner of the channel which had completely forgot about even registering it and he bestowed his powers onto me.

I’m now on the channel for most of the day, making sure everything runs smoothly and helping people when I can.  I invite anyone that needs help or would like to provide help to the community to come join us at #flex @ irc.freenode.net.
